Where can I pay parking tickets & citations?
Parking tickets can be paid during normal business hours; Monday-Friday 8AM to 4PM at the Central Berks Police Station, 2147 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606. Traffic & Non-Traffic citations are handled at the Magistrate’s office.
Why was my vehicle tagged ABANDONED?
A vehicle that is parked on a public street for more than 48 hours while displaying an expired inspection or registration sticker; is in an inoperable condition or is parked illegally- is considered abandoned. An orange sticker will be placed on the vehicle upon discovery. If the vehicle has not moved in 48 hours, a certified letter is sent to the registered owner. 7 days after the certified letter is sent, the vehicle will be towed.
